2007 Crop Circles

Crop Circles photographed in 2007

Welcome to the 2007 Image Gallery

2007 was a wonderful year, with several fantastic formations of note. The first appeared at West Kennet Longbarrow, it was quickly named ‘The Temple’ and was yet another circle to use ‘one point projection’. The circle showed a columned hall, with a checkerboard floor, moving into a unseen distance. The design seemed to invite the visitor to contemplate that unseen place, perhaps to think of the world unseen, beyond the veil. It was a profound statement. Another of the years stunning formations was affectionally known as the ‘Sugar Cubes’ at Sugar Hill, Aldbourne, Wiltshire. A magnificent design, four iterations of a thirty-six pointed star, and in the centre eighteen cubes (made from hexagons) around a flattened hexagram in the centre. 2007 was also the year of another of our personal favourite crop circles, the ‘Butterfly’ at Hailey Wood. A stunning design and yet another symbol of transformation. For this new website we have gone back through our archive, and painstakingly scanned and cleaned up many of our images to share with you for the first time – we hope you enjoy them!
