1997 Crop Circles

Crop Circles photographed in 1997

Welcome to the 1997 Image Gallery

1997 was an interesting year for the crop circles punctuated by several major formations. Of particular note was the Tree of Life (Kabbalah) at Burdrop Down in the stunning yellow of an oilseed rape (canola) field, the striking ‘Harlequin’ in emerald barley at Winterbourne Bassett, the first pentagram star at Bishops Cannings, and of course the two gigantic Koch Snowflake Fractals at Silbury Hill, and Milk Hill. For this new website we have gone back through our archive, and painstakingly scanned and cleaned up many of our images to share with you for the first time – we hope you enjoy them!
