About our Photographic Enlargements: Each 12 x 9 inch image is printed on glossy photographic paper and is supplied hand-rolled and posted in a strong cardboard tube to ensure safe delivery. We have chosen a selection of our all time favourite ancient sacred sites for you to choose from.
Stonehenge Sunset: Stonehenge is one of the most iconic stone circles in the world. Despite years of research and much speculation, officially the purpose of Stonehenge remains unknown. However, there is little doubt that it served as an astronomical observatory that marked the seasons (solstices and equinoxes), eclipses and other important markers in time. The erection of the stones was in fact part of the later works at the site, recent research dates the earliest phases of the site to 8000BC.
