Geoff Fitzpatrick was introduced to mandalas whilst studying the pioneering work of Carl G Jung and has spent the past 15 years exploring the intersection of geometry, spirituality and psychology through these symbols. Working with mandalas has opened Geoff to the profound power geometry possesses to influence states of consciousness. The construction of sacred sand mandalas during Geoff’s Mandalanature sessions opens people to a deeper aspect of themselves by blending creativity, geometry and mindfulness in a unique and special way. In addition to his studies at Trinity College, Dublin and the Milltown Institute, Geoff has trained with Dr. Stanislav Grof MD learning a psychotherapeutic technique called Holotropic Breathwork. Dr. Grof’s cartography of the psyche informs the Manalanature model entirely.
Geoff is also a regular visitor to the crop circles, to experience their spaces and contemplate their geometries. Geoff combines his love of Mandalas, consciousness and the circles to form a unique view of this phenomenon.
Geoff will be a co-presenter at our Geometry Workshop and a Speaker at the Temporary Temples summer crop circle conference this August!

Surrounding my self and my work space with these magical figures, creates a new and innovative mood, such that I see the world in a slightly different way, even though I may not be aware of the details.

A wonderful first podcast Karen & Steve, congrats! Philosophically, I would state that duality is the nature of existence at the level of manifested form, as these formations attest to. We are neither solely human nor being, but, always both, as the ancient Chinese Tao Yin/Yang symbol teaches. The nondual element enters in what Karen alluded to with her comment about parallel happenstances and their mystery. The Unity of Existence is a given for me, whether a broken handful of these formations are man-made or, in the main, heavenly.
From the perspective of format, I’d like to see a deeper engagement with hosts through a more intensive use of Q & A. It’s important that even when a guest is completely enthusiastic, that the interviewer does not lose control of the discussion through multiple inadvertent monologues, which, can forfeit interest on the part of a listener.
On the comment form, this senior mistook a multiplication sign for an addition. Upon hitting the return arrow, he was perplexed to see all of the comment he had laboured over, disappear into that other parallel universe known as cyberspace. hahaha. Comments could either be moderated or another Captcha could be entered automatically by the webmaster, so that someone like this scribbler, doesn’t become de-materialized. That’ll happen soon ’nuff. hahaha
Hi John, Many thanks for your considered comments (as always). We will be looking to develop our format as we go on, but want our podcasts to be more about letting people tell their story rather than an intensive Q&A. It’s important to us that our guests feel comfortable to speak and that their enthusiasms come across to the listener as that is part of the crop circle experience, and part of the effect the phenomenon has on many people. Authenticity is key I think, to conveying the crop circle experience.

Wonderful first podcast! Thank you…and thank you Geoff for sharing your fascinating experiences! I am a Jungian psychotherapist and found particular interest in your insights regarding the mandala and consciousness. Crop circles are one of the few, if not only, current day phenomena that seems, in my opinion, a direct manifestation of the individual unconscious, and/or the collective unconscious. Although the entire manifest universe is a result of consciousness (conscious and unconscious) crop circles are unique in that they are presented as metaphor and symbol…very clear with meaning and not just arbitrary patterns…again, in my opinion, probably the most significant occurrence of such “material manipulation” we have seen since ancient times when megalithic stones were moved about without any sort of cause and effect materialist mechanism. Right under our noses…see you this August!
