Loose Bottom, nr Falmer, Sussex

This solitary circle is one of the first crop formations to have appeared in the county of Sussex for some time. It is reported to have appeared on the 30th of May in young barley crop. These pictures show the circle several weeks after its appearance and the barley is now a golden brown colour. If you look closely at one of the pictures below you will notice Brighton and Hove Albion football stadium in the background. The circle measures approximately 120ft. in diameter and was accompanied by two tiny satellite circles.
