Parkes Hill Plantation, nr Cherington, Gloucestershire

This astonishing crop circle has one of the most beautiful ground-lays seen in any crop circle. Here the geometry is literally woven into the crop, to create a magical carpet of golden wheat. Swirls, tufts and weaving, are all clearly visible in the photos below. There is a curious patterning around the outer perimeter of the formation. Does it have any meaning? This circle was incredibly beautiful to see from the air with the light changing as you flew around. Steve’s close-up shots of the centre pattern reveal its complexity and beauty in stunning clarity.
