Roundway Hill (2), Wilts. 

(near Oliver’s Castle & Devizes)

Introduction: This is the second crop circle to appear in this field this year. It sits alongside the first circle in the field. It was first reported on the 18th of July 2026. It is in a field of wheat and measures approximately 200ft in diameter. You can see more about the first Roundway circle here.

Description: This is a beautiful (and somewhat rare) thirteen-fold star and crescent. What also makes this a very special formation is the woven floor-lay, present throughout the crop circle. 

Flight: We were able to fly this circle a couple of days after its appearance and it was still in excellent condition. You can enjoy Steve’s great photography below, with additional ground shots from our friends Tomasz Kaczmarek and Dan Vidler.

Location History: This field at Roundway Hill was host to another circle in 2023 – see photo. This was an eighteen-fold star with a hexagon in the centre. Along with Milk Hill and Etchilhampton Hill, Roundway Hill is one of the highest spots in the Wiltshire landscape.
