Description: This is another fascinating design. We see two sectors of what would be a twenty-eight pointed star. Each sector containing seven points. This could link to a lunar connection. Where the two missing sectors are there are two circles instead – sat on a fine ring – almost quintuplet-like. The whole design is encased in a containing ring.
Flight: We were able to fly this circle a couple of days after its appearance and it was still in excellent condition. You can enjoy Steve’s great photography below, with additional shots from our friends Tomasz Kaczmarek and Simon Young.
We are still fund-raising to fly this season, if you’d like to make a donation to our flight fund, you can do that here.
Visiting: You will need permission to enter this field from the farmer. As far as we know there is no current permission to enter this circle. Please read our downloadable PDF about visiting the crop circles responsibly.

Oliver’s Castle circle of 1994
Location History: Oliver’s Castle, on Roundway Hill has a long association with the crop circles phenomenon. I think the first circle reported there was in 1993 and is now the logo for the CSETI organisation. There have been many great circles here, my first was in the summer of 1994, a set of nested crescents below the hill. I remember sitting on the hillside looking down into the fields. It was a magnificent sight, set in stunning scenery.

Please Help to keep us Flying in 2026: We hope to take to the skies again in 2026 to record the circles that appear this summer. If you have enjoyed looking at our pictures and information please consider making a small donation to keep us flying. There are so few of us left regularly recording the circles it’s really important that we continue. And while some now use drones to record the circles, it is important that there are still images taken from aircraft where the best quality camera equipment can be used and images that include the broad vista of the landscape can be taken. This kind of photography is expensive and it gets harder with each passing year to raise the funds we need to continue our work, but if everyone who regularly looked at this website made a small donation we would meet the funds we need. You can make a donation here.
