Detail & Location: This circle was first reported on the 4th June 2023 and is the second reported crop circle of the 2023 season in the UK. The circle was in a field of green barley close to the village of Winterbourne Bassett in Wiltshire. Google Maps Link. OS Grid Ref: SU 11154 74593. The circle measures approximately 400ft in length. 

Visiting: The farmer has already cut out the central line of this crop circle. 

Location & History: This new circle is very close-by to the first circle of the season at Broad Hinton – just down the road. So, as mentioned on the broad Hinton page, there have been many circles in this general location and there are many barrows and other markers of ancient human habitation in this area. 

About this crop circle: This circle is a classical ‘pictogram’ style design, right from the early 1990’s play-book. Always nice to see and a reminder of the origins of the phenomenon.
