Detail & Location: This circle was first reported on the 11th April 2025 in a field of oilseed rape (canola). It measures approximately 120ft in diameter.

Visiting: There is no word on visiting yet. So if you wish to visit this circle you will need the express permission of the farmer to do so. 

Location & History: This could be a new crop circle location. We don’t recall any circles in this area before. Looking at the maps, we can see no connection with ancient sites in this area either.

About this crop circle: This crop circle is a small central circle with a much larger ring.

It is no surprise that both the early arrival and apparent quality in execution of this formation leaves some questions open about whether this is a 'real' circle or not. I don’t know. 
 
The formation, as it is in the field, has a slight wobble in both the central circle and ring, which I have left out of my drawing. Another thing is that the two elements are not concentric in the real formation. Their respective centerpoints are a few feet away from each other. Like on either side of the tire track of the tramline. Which actually is kind of interesting. Anyway, in my reconstruction concentricity is restored.
 
The design seems to be about the Squared circle. The radius of the central circle is determined by a Squared circle based on the perimeter ring. Central circle and ring actually have the same ratio as satellites and ring of the Wilton Windmill formation from last year, although that one was bigger.
 
The width of the ring appears slightly thinner than the standing line in between the tramlines. Which turns out to be more or less the inner- and outer radius of a decagon, or ten fold regular polygon (not drawn). Since I constructed the Squared circle from a Golden rectangle, the Phi related ratio of the decagon came conveniently.
 
If we take the combined area of flattened crop and convert that to a circle, its diameter equals the distance between central circle and inner radius of the ring. Which is either a lucky coincidence by a circle faker, or a brilliant design feature if it was done intentionally.
 

I don’t know if this formation is real or not. I am inclined towards the latter. But that doesn’t matter. The point is, we record what see and share our analysis. The rest is up to you.
