Flight: Most unfortunately, the farmer cut this crop circle from the field the same day as it was reported. Therefore, we were unable to organise a flight over this circle before it was cut. We’d like to thank Billy Breen for allowing us to share some of his aerial images on our website.

Visiting: The farmer has now cut this crop circle from the field. Please do not enter the field.

Inside the circle: Researcher Dan Vidler was able to get a few images inside this formation, just as the farmer was cutting it out! You can see these images in the gallery below. Many thanks to Dan!

Location & History: This crop circle is close to the Win Green estate and you can read more about it here. This is a place used by sky watchers as it affords fantastic views with very little light pollution.

About Win Green
The highest point in the Cranborne Chase provides panoramic views from the Isle of Wight and Purbeck Hills to Blackmore Vale and Salisbury Plain. Win Green is crowned by beech trees growing on a Bronze Age bowl barrow with a distinctive ridge around the edge. This clump of trees is visible for miles around.
The Ox-drove links the countryside of Thomas Hardy’s novels with Salisbury, this was a long distance droving route along which cattle were herded from Devon and Somerset to the Hampshire ports.
This rich downland habitat supports a wide range of plants and animals. A few years ago grazing was reintroduced which has resulted in an increase in the number of flowers found here.

About this crop circle: This design is the classic symbol for the Triple Goddess – waxing, waning and full moon. A stylised pentagram sits inside the central circle. The star is also associated with the Divine feminine – did you know that the planet Venus makes a five-pointed star around Earth as she travels around the solar system? You do now!

Please see the Geometry Gallery below for more details as we have them.

Visiting the Circles? If you are thinking of visiting any crop circles this summer, please read our Visiting the Crop Circles section. It’s full of useful information and etiquette for visiting the countryside and the crop circles. Please remember that you should not enter any fields without the express permission of the farmer.

Please Help to keep us Flying in 2025: We hope to take to the skies again in 2025 to record the circles that appear this summer. If you have enjoyed looking at our pictures and information please consider making a small donation to keep us flying. There are so few of us left regularly recording the circles it’s really important that we continue. And while some now use drones to record the circles, it is important that there are still images taken from aircraft where the best quality camera equipment can be used and images that include the broad vista of the landscape can be taken. This kind of photography is expensive and it gets harder with each passing year to raise the funds we need to continue our work, but if everyone who regularly looked at this website made a small donation we would meet the funds we need. You can make a donation here.

NOTE: Some of the images below are beautiful landscape scenes. Click on each image to enlarge them and see the whole picture.
