Description: This was yet another three-fold design to appear during the 2026 season. It’s geometry and symbolism were fascinating and it was a beautifully laid crop circle.
Flight: We were not able to fly over this circle as it was cut out by the farmer a day before our planned flight, but you can see drone images by Tomasz Kaczmarek. We are enormously grateful to Tomasz for sharing his images with us. As you will see the weather was very uncooperative for a few days following the circle’s appearance, with dull, flat skies and little good light, which made photography difficult. Thanks also to Billy Breen for his ground shot featured below.
We are still fund-raising to fly this season, if you’d like to make a donation to our flight fund, you can do that here.
Visiting: This circle has now sadly been cut out. One researcher reported seeing over 40 visitors to this relatively small formation while they were filming it from the air. As no permissions had been given by the farmer for visiting, this undoubtedly contributed to it being cut. This is a terribly sad situation. While I understand all too well the desire to visit the circles, not asking permission only puts further strain on our relationships with farmers. No one else will now be able to enjoy, fly over, or (more importantly) study this crop circle. It lasted just 3 days.
Please do not enter the fields without seeking permission from the farmer and please read our Visiting the Crop Circles section for a downloadable PDF about visiting the crop circles responsibly.
Location History: While there have been crop circles around the Salisbury area over the years. As far as I am aware this is a location new for the phenomenon. Looking at the Ordinance Survey Map there are some old earthworks in the area, ancient ditches, farming works and ancient settlements etc. There a also a couple of triangulation points on hills nearby. This is a beautiful area of the Wiltshire landscape.
General Information:
Visiting the Circles? If you are thinking of visiting any crop circles this summer, please read our Visiting the Crop Circles section. It’s full of useful information and etiquette for visiting the countryside and the crop circles. Please remember that you should not enter any field without the express permission of the farmer.

Please Help to keep us Flying in 2026: We hope to take to the skies again in 2026 to record the circles that appear this summer. If you have enjoyed looking at our pictures and information please consider making a small donation to keep us flying. There are so few of us left regularly recording the circles it’s really important that we continue. And while some now use drones to record the circles, it is important that there are still images taken from aircraft where the best quality camera equipment can be used and images that include the broad vista of the landscape can be taken. This kind of photography is expensive and it gets harder with each passing year to raise the funds we need to continue our work, but if everyone who regularly looked at this website made a small donation we would meet the funds we need. You can make a donation here.
